Our Mission

Bedrock Academy is a child development center located in Bossier, LA, and is a Type 3 facility. We provide locals in Bossier, Shreveport, Barksdale Airforce Base, Haughton, Palin Dealing, Benton, Ringold, Coushatta, and Elm Grove with quality, engaging childcare services. We consider and care for all children with various needs and do not have any political or religious affiliations.

Frog Street Curriculum

Our curriculum is designed to offer a comprehensive foundational learning experience for your child. This formative period is crucial, and the implementation of the Frog Street Curriculum will cultivate an enriching environment, which is instrumental in fostering lifelong success.

We have programs dedicated to math, literacy, music, physical activity, science, art, and social interaction. We're hands-on and interest them through:

Field trips to educational and fun places like museums

Our Curriculum

Our unique curriculum and dedication to creating a fun environment allow children from six weeks to 12 years to grow, learn, and play. We ensure your kid has the activities, space, and materials needed to become a healthier person while here.

Our Director

Ruth Badillo - Director

Ruth Badillo has been brightening the world of childcare for 4 years, with 3 of those wonderful years spent at CP Preparatory School. Her favorite part of being a Director? Getting to know all the amazing families that walk through the school’s doors! A proud resident of Mesquite, Ruth channels her energy into her favorite hobbies: dancing, singing, and shopping. With a love for both Spanish and country music, she’s always ready to groove. Her favorite movie, Home Alone, matches her fun-loving personality, and she can’t resist a good plate of lasagna. While Ruth doesn’t have kids or pets of her own yet, she’s dedicated to making every child at CP Prep feel like family.

*A Wonderful Place for My Children*

I’m so grateful for the care and support my children receive here. From the moment they walk through the door, I feel comfortable knowing they are in a safe, caring, and welcoming environment. The teachers are patient, attentive, and truly take the time to get to know each child and their individual needs.

I especially appreciate the communication with parents and how the staff keeps me informed about my children’s day. It means so much to know that my children are not just being watched—they are being loved, encouraged, taught, and cared for.

Seeing my children happy and excited to go to childcare gives me peace of mind as a parent. I would definitely recommend this childcare center to other families looking for a place where their children can learn, grow, and feel cared for. ❤️

We really love having both of our children at Bedrock. The staff have been awesome the 4+ years that we've been with Bedrock. We have sent both to preschool there and since our oldest started school, we utilize the before and after school care. Bedrock busses to and from school and that has made things so much easier for us as working parents!!
Since our oldest does before and after school care, that also ensures that we have childcare during breaks and summer. It also affords us the ability to drop off and pick up both kids at the same location daily.
The admin have always called if anything happens and they take action to ensure safety for the children at daycare.
We trust them because they've proven to be trustworthy and truly care about the kids!
